Speaking Intro

Rick Green seems to have always been in a hurry.  He finished a four-year college degree in just two years, started law school at the age of 20, started his first company while still in law school, married at 23, became a father at 25, and launched his first political campaign at the age of 26… challenging a powerful incumbent.

On election night, he went to bed believing he had lost his bid for State Representative by a mere 20 votes out of over 30,000 cast.  After a recount, he was declared the winner by 36 votes and entered the Texas House of Representatives as the youngest freshman. Rick has been recognized with the “State Legislature Vanguard Award” for passage of the Teach Freedom Act, House Bill 1776. In addition, he has received Free Market Foundation’s “Leader of Excellence Award” and Eagle Forum’s “Freedom and Family Award”.

Rick now travels the nation speaking for David Barton’s WallBuilders organization, dedicated to presenting America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on our moral, religious and constitutional heritage. Rick and David co-host the national daily radio program “WallBuilders Live!” Rick is the author and executive producer of “Constitution Alive!,” America’s most engaging and entertaining study of the U.S. Constitution.

Rick & David also launched Patriot Academy 15 years ago to train young leaders to be effective champions for founding principles in every area of the nation and they hold the program in state capitols across America.

He and his wife, Kara, have 4 kids and their newest venture, Chasing American Legends, is a new TV show that follows their family as they investigate America’s heroes, legends, & legacies.

Rick is here to challenge each of us to do our part in preserving and passing the torch of freedom by living out our liberty as the Founding Fathers envisioned.

Please help me welcome the Honorable Rick Green.
