Television boundaries continue to be erased. It’s been disappointing, but not surprising as mainstream programming has embraced full on homosexual kissing and marriage in Scandal, Nashville, The Good Wife, and so many other shows. But now Disney has decided to join the love fest and bow down to the LGBT community. The above episode, of course, starts the excursion by portraying the gay community with two beautiful women in a perfectly well adjusted family with a perfectly well adjusted child. Because, of course, this is perfectly representative of the LGBT lifestyle. All those stats from the Center from Disease Control and National Violence Against Women Survey are just numbers, right? I mean, just because abuse is twice as likely in lesbian relationships and three times as likely in male homosexual relationships, there are no conclusions to be drawn. And even in the half of homosexual relationships without obvious abuse, those children crying out with natural needs of both a mother and father are surely just anecdotal and not representative.
Now let me try this with a little less sarcasm. We should be loving people by telling them the truth and helping them find healthy relationships and lifestyles, not deceiving another generation with images that misrepresent a lifestyle. Disney now joins the political agenda that puts a pretty face on the sexual deviancy of our culture. The danger of this milestone is that it will not be “discerning” adults watching primetime drama, but the little children of our nation swallowing this propaganda and shaping their view of the world. Vice-president Joe Biden rightly said (I know, confusing that I said Biden and right in the same sentence) Will & Grace did more for the homosexual agenda than anyone. Now it will be Good Luck Charlie influencing a new generation.
